The Morph

Chapter 1

My names are Michael and Slimini-Esgarrouth-Isthill. I can't tell you my last name or were I live. Buts that's not the point. The point is that alien's are invading this planet. No, not aliens like on Star Trek, Babylon 5, or Star Wars. Yeerks. They are slug-like parasites from another planet. Yeerks actually. They take over people's minds. I fight them. I am a Animorph. There are 7 of us. All teenagers. Now your worried. 7 kids vs. mind-conntroling slugs? Don't worry at all. We have a power. The power to morph. Morph. Become other animals. It was given to us by a Andalite named Elfangor. Andalite. Another word. Andalites are centuar-like aliens. They have stalk eyes, 4 legs, no mouths, and tails that can whip fast. Fast. I know. I am one. I'll explain later. The story I am telling you could save your life.

Chapter 2

We were at Cassie's barn trying to figure out what to do with our Andalite fighter. (Read The Truth.) It was Tobias who figured out what to do with it. <The Yeerk Pool?> Tobias is a nothlit. A human stuck in morph. Red-Tailed Hawk morph. He is also my best friend.

"Oh no. Yeerk Pool 4. Animorphs Anilate." Marco. The main joker of our group. He treats everything in life as a joke. Smart actually.

"If we get in we could destroy the pool. Destroy. Duh-ee-story." Ax. My Andalite twin brother. We found him in a dome on the bottom of the ocean floor.

" Good idea Ax. Could you and Mike fly it?" Jake. My human twin brother and the leader of the Animorphs.

"Of course." I said to Jake. Me. I am a Andalite. Now a human. I was brought to Earth by the Ellimist. There I was given a human morph and the power to stay in it forever. And the power to morph other morphs from it.

"An Andalite fighter is very suspicious." Cassie. Our morph supplier and expert. Also Jake's girlfriend.

"The bat cave?" Rachel. Xena: Warrior Princess and my girlfriend. We had dug into a bat cave and found a way into the Yeerk pool.

"We could cloak the fighter. The others could open a door." I said.

"Okay the Yeerk pool it is." Jake said. I felt my heart do a flip.

Chapter 3

The Yeerk Pool. A place were humans, Taxxons, and Hork-Bajir were made into controllers. As we walked in the door our brother Tom said "What's up midgets?"

"Just the usual." Usual. Right. Oh, nothing Tom. Just saving the planet from aliens. But Tom was a controller. He was infested by a Yeerk. We would save him someday.

On Saturday I was in my bedroom with Jake. "The things I do on weekends." I said as I opened the window. Then I started the morph. Golden Eagle. I shrank. My skin sprouted feathers. My nose changed into a Eagle's killing beak. My toe's changed into talons. I was a Golden Eagle.

<Cool.> I said in thought-speak that came with morphs. I looked at Jake. He was a Peregrine Falcon.

<Let's fly.> I flew to the window. I jumped. Now I was falling towards a cement driveway. I made the adjustments, pulled up and thermaled. A thermal is a pillar of warm air.

<You going to get to business or what?> A Red-Tailed Hawk, 2 Ospreys, a Northern Harrier, and a Bald Eagle were above us.

<I'm ready.>

Chapter 4

We all flew to were the fighter was. Then I landed. I began to demorph. Andalite. My eagle body grew. My body exdended in the back, and my tail changed. My legs grew and 2 more came out. My chest changed, My wings turned into arms. My head changed into an Andalite head. Then Ax opened the door and we walked in.

<I'll fly and you shoot.>

I saw them fly away. I took off the fighter. then I went to the nearest Pool entrence. Mmmmm... Tserw! Tserw! Shredders fit the ertrence and we flew in.

Chapter 5

I landed the fighter and Ax and I morphed into human. Then we came out of the fighter. <Try to speak in thought-speak.> I said to Ax

<Okay.> I saw Hork-Bajir solders dragging a human to the infesting docks.

<Ax! You stay here wile I do somthing.>

<Okay.>

I ran to the docks. The human was Rachel! I had one decision to make. And I had a plan. But it required one thing. I had to morph a Yeerk.

Chapter 6

I ran to the infesting pillar. Rachel was fiftheenth in line. I swang under, kept my ears over the water, grabed a Yeerk, and aqquired it. I felt the Yeerk go limp. Then I threw It out. "Great." I muttered. Every morph is different. I am kind of a estreen. I made my ears disapear first. Then I went under the sludge of theYeerk pool. I counted the heads of people. On the fiftheeth I went into the ear canal. I was a Yeerk controlling Rachel.

<Rachel! It's Michael!>

<Michael? You morphed a Yeerk?>

<Yep.>

<Rachel?> Tobias yelled in thought-speak. <Are you alright?>

<Tobias!> I said. <It's me Mike! I'm in Yeerk morph.>

<Okay.>

Chapter 7

I ran to the Andalite fighter. The others were waiting for me. Then I crawled out of Rachel. I demorphed into Andalite form. <Okay. Here we go.>

<Slimini, The cloak is failing.>

"Uh oh." Three Yeerk bug fighters came towards us. We flew out of the pool. We turned around and fired shreders. Mmmm... Tsrew! Tsrew! One of the fighters got hit. BOOM! Then... BOOM! We got hit.

<Morph! Morph!>

I jumped out. I was changing to my Black-and-White Tiger morph. There were 7 Hork-Bajir. Not to mention a LEERAN!

Chapter 8

Leerens are psycic aliens. They could see right through our morphs. These are not Andalites, Visser.

One of the Hork-Bajir said "Yes they are." I beg your pardon Visser. These are not Andalites. They are-

I was bored. I jumped, flew, and killed the Leeren.

"Greetings Andalites. I am Visser 2."

I could see that this was not going to be easy. There was a wolf, 2 tigers, a gorlia, a grizzly bear, a red-tailed hawk, and an Andalite on our side. There was 6 Hork-Bajir on there side. And one of the Hork-Bajir was a high-ranking Visser. He would have reinforcements.

<Prepare to fight.> Jake said.

Chapter 9

If you have ever met a Hork-Bajir in battle you know there are only 2 words for it. Really Hard. As the Hork-Bajir came towards us I was ready. I calmy opened my mouth and roared. A tiger's roar can be heard for miles. ROARWWWWW! The Hork-Baajir stoped right in their traks. We advanced. I took my Hork. I riped him apart. Most of the same things happened. We all got injured. But we won. And we survived. Thats all that matteres. Oh, we left Visser 2 there to. He was mad. Really mad.

Chapter 10

In the night, I woke up. There was one thing I had to do. I reached over to Jake. I concentrated. Jake became all sleepy like, although he was already asleep. I morphed to owl. I stopped by at Rachel, Cassie, and Marco's houses. and did the same thing to them. I would use these morphs later.

I am a scientist. I am also a warrior. And I am a liver. I told you about me. Soon I will have more information about the Animorphs.
