Right then we were all sitting around on the grass in Cassie's woods. That would be me, Donna, Shari, Jaime, Ax, Marco, Cassie, Rachel, Jake, and Tobias. If you want to know anything about us all I can tell you is that we despise the Yeerks and that I have a thing for the movie "Puppet Master." Man those things in the movie are so ugly. Did you see the part when he's hanging from the rafters and....oops sorry!
Anyway we had just foiled one of Visser Three's plans and we were kinda getting cocky about it. Bragging, bla bla Visser three is a loser, yakity yak what a wimp, bla bla. You get the picture.
I looked over at Ax. He was sitting in the shade of a tree and looked a little upset. He was currently in his andalite form so it was a little hard to tell if he was upset or not. I just felt it. I can't really explain my feelings about Ax. I guess I'm half drawn to him and half scared of him. I'm not sure why I feel like that. Hey, it's not like I have a crush on him or anything. He just feels very familiar, like an old friend from long ago.
I slowly walked over to him at placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. <What's wrong?> I thought-spoke to him privately.
<How did you sense that I....> he trailed off in surprise. <Nothing, I'm just thinking> he quickly added.
<Well alright, sure nothing's bothering you?> I asked him. <No, thank-you for your concern> he answered in a slightly odd way. It almost sounded as though he didn't trust me in some way. I frowned and walked over to Donna and joined in some converstion about some guy named Mike.
That night I snuck out of Cassie's house and whent to the woods. Cassie had let me stay at her house while I was there. Donna and Jaime were at Rachel's and Shari was with Jake. I liked taking long walks at night. It helps to ease my mind. I walked down a path to a small lake. As I brushed passed a tall shrub I heard voices. I immeadiately sank behind a small tree and listened. One of the voices belonged to Jake the other was thought-speak, So I figured it was Ax.
<Prince Jake, I do not trust her at all> I heard Ax.
"Why? She's helped us a lot Ax," Jake answered.
<But there is no possible way that anyone could gain such increadible power just by falling into a Yeerk pool>
"Well how would we know?" Jake asked.
<Because you fell into one too once> Ax answered. This definately ended the conversation. Jake frowned. "Well, then who is she?" he said in worry.
The next day I asked for everyone to come to the barn with me. I needed to talk to them. I sat on a small stool and patiantly waited for everyone to settle down. Then I spoke.
"I need to confess something," I said in a grim voice. I glanced at Tobias in worry. He was currently in human form. I wondered how the news I was about to give would affect him. I sighed and continued. "Last night, I saw Ax and Jake discussing about me." Jake's eyes widened in surprise. "And they are right." I said as my voice got tighter. "My name is Loren."
Everyone's eyes turned directly at me. "Mica,wha...," Shari started.
I cut her off quickly. "My name is not Mica, that's only a small allies." Ax spun around and his tail came to stop infront of my neck. I felt a thin line appear on my line and blood slowly dripped down my shirt.
<I'll take that as an accident> I thought-spoke to Ax coldly.
Suddenly everyone gasped as my wound closed up and the blood stopped. I smiled. "I owe you all an explanation."
I explained that I had actually had my poweres of thought-speak and telekenesis before the Yeerks incident. But when I was thrown in it increased my power. So I was able to smal people against wall's and move things without touching them now. I told them about how an andalite Prince once saved my life when I was captured by a race called the Skit-na. About the hell we experienced fighting the Yeerks, Taxxons, and Hork-Bajjir in space. How we escaped. And finally how he returned me to earth and we married. I was of course older, around twenty when we married and he stayed in human morph. One day I went to the doctor and found out I was pregnant with his child. But something happened. When I got home he was gone. I came face-to-face with the Ellimist who explained that the andalite's destiny was not here on earth but in space.
True, it hurt me deeply but time heals wounds. The Ellimist offered to take me back in time to the exact spot where the Skit-na kiddnapp me. Five minutes before it happens. I accepted and was taken back. I was once again only fourteen and without child. The existance of my future baby was completely erased. I ran as fast as I could and escaped the capture. That night the Ellimist came back and told me of my power. The power I had somehow gained while I had a romantic interlude with my husband. There were tears falling from my eyes by the time I finished and Cassie had her arm around me, comforting me.
"But something happened later I found out that in the future I did have my son and somehow his essence came with me back to the past," I said in sobs. "And he is here, in this time now, in this room,"
I said as I completely collapsed in grief. <Who is the Andalite prince and child?> Ax asked in shock.
"Th..the Prince was your brother, p..prince Elfangor and..and my son is...is Tobias."
