The Unknown

By: Tina

I am the unknown. I destroyed my identity. I simply do not exist in records. Visser1 is not the only one who can fake her own death. I know all that the Yeerks know. Watch out for me ,for the unknown shall soon be known. I shall fight with the Andalites and destroy our common enemy. That is if I survive their interragation first.

I used to be a normal kid. School, friends, enemys, like I said, normal. I even had a normal family,a mom, a dad, and a twin brother. One day that all changed. At the age of eight I found that an alien slug lived in my stepfather's head and that he wanted it there. This information scared me more than any thing had scared me in my life. Even at the age of eight I could not dream of giving away my right to control who I am.

Three months later I told my mother, Loren about what I had found. Loren looked at me in a way I had never seen her before. She looked scared, terrified more like it. My mother asked me if I was sure of what I saw. I was. We cut off all contact and moved to the coast, leaving my stepfather behind. The last thing my mother said that day was"The're here so soon. I can't let them find me. Not now." Two weeks later she disappered.

My brother and I went to live with our aunt during the summer and our uncle during the school year. Neither of them wanted either of us.

At the age of ten I heard of this great group called the Sharing. Fulfilling my desire to see what "Full Members" did in there special meetings, I found that I did not imagine these "Yeerks" after all. That night I faked my own death. I won't tell you all the details, but my plan did include filling a small bag with my own blood, a note saying "I cannot live another day without my mother, I hope jumping off a cliff doesn't hurt too much.", and to make it look like I really did fall. Luckly it worked. Later that week in discise I attended my own feunerel. A feunerel without a body. Listening to a pastor I didn't even know tell eveyone what a great person I was. It would have been funny if my twin brother, Tobias wasn't crying only two rows in front of me. I left right then, I did not wan't to see him cry. As soon as I left the building I turned and whispered,"Sorry, Tobias, but I could not let you get into the same mess as I have gotten myself into. This is my fight. Good bye my brother, Good bye, Tobias.

Two years later I was ready to fight. I had hacked into the Yeerks computer files, taught myself, disipline, karate and every fighting style that I could think of to the highest level. The best thing I did is create new wepons using the Yeerks own technoligy. Now I was ready. Besides the six surviving Andilites, they had me to worry about. The world was about to look into the face of the Unknown.

PREVIEW OF THE TRIAL

There I was, after all this time of being unknown, I was about to show myself. Worse I was going to appear to ones not even of this planet. "How do I get into these messes?" I silently asked myself as I walked though the forest. I was frightened at the aspect of meeting these Andlites. All of a sudden there was a piece of metel, sharper than the blade of an ax, in between my chin and my shoulders. Now I was terrified.
